Valley Surf Soccer Club is a competitive youth soccer club based in Lathrop, CA, proudly operating as part of Surf Nation, the nationally recognized youth soccer network. The club competes in top leagues including ECNL and ECNL RL, offering player development pathways from grassroots through elite levels across the Central Valley region. Valley Surf emphasizes individual technical development, character building, and maximizing player potential both on and off the field. The club boasts impressive alumni outcomes including 250+ NCAA commitments, 55 professional trial invitations, and 360+ players invited to Surf Select regional and national teams since 2021. Tryout Schedule
Valley Surf holds tryouts for ECNL, ECNL RL, and NorCal Premier teams for the 2026/27 season. USL Academy participants must attend Surf USL Academy Tryouts, complete an interest form, and participate in the Surf Select program. Players from Central Valley clubs may also be invited via the USL Academy scouting network or affiliate club partnerships.
