About

Tonka Fusion Elite (TFE) is an elite youth soccer club based in Plymouth, MN, operating as a collaborative between two member clubs: Fusion Soccer Club (serving Plymouth, Wayzata, Medina, Maple Grove, and Buffalo) and Tonka United (serving Minnetonka, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Edina, Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, and Waconia). TFE fields both Girls Academy and MLS NEXT Academy programs, competing at the highest national levels of youth soccer with teams ranging from U12 to U19. The club achieved a historic milestone by qualifying all six Girls Academy age groups for the Girls Academy Champions Cup competitive bracket in the 2026-2027 season. TFE emphasizes player development, college recruiting exposure, and national competition, with a player-centered philosophy captured in their motto '#ForEachOther.' The club partners with MN Bliss (WPSL), MNUFC Academy, and offers ID camps, goalkeeper camps, and tryouts open to players both inside and outside the club.

Tryout Schedule

2026-2027 tryouts are held in July at Hopkins High School. Girls Academy tryouts: July 6-7; MLS NEXT Academy (Boys) tryouts: July 13-14. Registration is open at tonkafusionelite.com. ID Camps precede tryouts: Girls Academy ID Camp on June 12 and MLS NEXT Academy ID Camp on June 12, both at Wayzata High School; Goalkeeper ID Camp June 15-17 at Minnetonka High School. Camps are open to all players inside and outside the club.
