About
Soccer Unity Project is a Boston-based nonprofit organization founded in 2008 that provides free, equitable soccer programming to urban youth in Roxbury and South End. The organization serves 1,300+ annual youth players (75% BIPOC, 35% female) and was rebranded in 2022 to unite South End Soccer, Boston Unity Cup, and other community programs. SUP focuses on changing the culture of youth soccer from pay-to-play to inclusive programming that welcomes players regardless of background or experience. The organization emphasizes community building, cultural appreciation, and using soccer as a tool to address inequity and bring together Boston's diverse populations.
