The Soccer Unity Project

Soccer Unity Project is a Boston-based organization founded in 2008 that provides free, inclusive soccer programming primarily in Roxbury and South End neighborhoods. The organization serves over 1,300+ annual youth players (75% BIPOC, 35% female) and 750+ adult players representing 34 countries through programs like South End Soccer, Boston Unity Cup, and adaptive soccer. Their mission focuses on building community, connecting diverse backgrounds, and promoting equity in youth soccer while changing the culture from pay-to-play to accessible programming. The organization was rebranded in 2022 to unite multiple programs under one umbrella and operates on fields centered in urban Boston communities.
