About
Steel City FC is Pittsburgh's first club to offer a complete development pathway from youth to adult soccer for both men and women. Formed through the collaboration of Pittsburgh Hotspurs SC and Arsenal FC of Pittsburgh in 2021, the club has deep roots dating back to the 1980s. The club operates across multiple sites including East Harmar, Metro (City), and North Cranberry, emphasizing a phase model of development with player-first approach. Steel City FC has successfully developed players who have advanced to MLS, including Michael Sullivan (Toronto FC) and Koven Johnson (Colorado Rapids).
