About

Sporting City is a premier competitive youth soccer club based in Kansas City, MO, established in 2021 as the official youth soccer club of Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City. The club serves boys and girls from U8 to U19 across three geographic regions — East, North, and West — with approximately 1,725 competitive players on 128 teams. Sporting City competes at elite national levels through memberships in MLS NEXT Homegrown Division, MLS NEXT Academy Division, Girls Academy ASPIRE, and the National Academy League (NAL). The club's development philosophy centers on the 'Sporting City Way,' built around Sporting KC's four core values — Teamwork, Winning Mentality, Work Ethic, and Intelligence — and focuses on individual player development through the four pillars of Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Psychological growth.
