Soccer Chance Academy

Soccer Chance Academy is a Portland, Oregon-based soccer club that uses a unique learner-centered model emphasizing individual creativity and player freedom. The academy operates four developmental stages (Explore, Experiment, Express, Execute) for ages 5-18, focusing on removing traditional constraints and fostering innovation rather than rigid tactical systems. SCA competes in MLS NEXT and has sent over 200 players to collegiate programs and professional soccer clubs worldwide. The club's philosophy centers on applauding what players can do rather than what they can't, creating learning spaces that ignite imagination and inspire individual expression.
