About
SOCA (Soccer Organization of the Charlottesville Area) is a youth and adult soccer club based in Charlottesville, Virginia, serving the greater Charlottesville and Albemarle area. The club operates a wide range of programs spanning from Mini Soccer for Under-4 players through competitive travel and elite ECNL Boys teams. SOCA also administers the Skyline Club Soccer League, a sanctioned travel league of the Virginia Youth Soccer Association founded in 2005 to develop clubs across west-central and southwest Virginia. In 2014, SOCA merged with Augusta FC, creating two distinct regional presences: SOCA-Charlottesville and SOCA-Augusta, both competing in the Skyline Premier League. The club emphasizes community development, financial assistance through the Matt Henderson Fund, and provides pathways for elite players to compete in the Virginia Club Champions League (CCL).
