About
Shippensburg Soccer Club (SSC) is a youth soccer club based in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, dedicated to fostering the physical, mental, and emotional growth of youth through soccer. Tryout Schedule
SSC uses evaluations rather than tryouts for U9 and older players, with the goal of finding an appropriate team for every player. All teams are dissolved at the end of spring to allow fair consideration. Players must attend their age group evaluation to be considered for the primary team. Coaches and independent evaluators rank players; a player wishing to play up must rank in the top 8. Evaluation dates and locations are announced by the board. Evaluations are held the first Sunday of June if necessary.
