About
Sheriffs Fútbol Club is a competitive, nonprofit (501(c)(3)) youth soccer club based in the Ashland, Cherryland, and San Lorenzo unincorporated areas between San Leandro and Hayward, California. Founded in 2017 as a free-to-play program sponsored by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office as a crime prevention initiative, the club has since grown to 20 teams serving players ages 7-19. The club competes at elite levels including MLSNext U13/U14 and NorCal Premier NPL Boys, with a mission to provide equal soccer opportunities to talented youth in underserved communities. Sheriffs FC emphasizes player development, life skills, and pathways to college and professional soccer. After losing funding in December 2023, the club has reestablished itself and continues to serve its highly diverse local community.

Tryout Schedule
Tryout sign-up available at https://sheriffsfc.byga.net/tryouts/dwejrgkgi8/signup for the 2024-2025 season. Players born between 2007 and 2021 may apply. Only a parent or legal guardian is authorized to submit an application. Players are accepted on a trial basis through the club's scouting network and online interest form.
