About
Seattle Reign Academy is a year-round competitive girls soccer club based in Tacoma, WA, philosophically built by women, for women, with a mission to inspire and empower the next generation of female footballers. The club is led by Executive Director Amy Griffin, a 1991 FIFA Women's World Cup winner and USSF 'A' licensed coach, making it the only youth club in the region led by women. Seattle Reign Academy competes in the Girls Academy league and maintains authentic connections to Seattle Reign FC, the professional NWSL team, including tickets to home matches, opportunities to train with the first team, and first team players serving as assistant coaches. The club's technical staff includes current and former professional female players and coaches with experience at the D1, professional, and international levels. Their philosophy prioritizes developing extraordinary people first, fostering a demanding yet empowering environment specifically designed for female athletes.
