About
San Diego FC (SDFC) is a Major League Soccer club based in San Diego, California, that began play in 2025 and is affiliated with the global Right to Dream organization. The club operates a fully tuition-free Right to Dream Academy on a purpose-built 28-acre campus called the Sharp HealthCare Performance Center, located in the mountains east of San Diego on the land of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation. The Academy uniquely integrates elite football development with rigorous academics and residential living for student-athletes in grades 6-12. The program launched in August 2025 with boys born in 2013-2014 and will expand to include both boys and girls from U12 to U16 ages. SDFC plays its home matches at Snapdragon Stadium and draws on Right to Dream's global model proven in Ghana, Denmark, and Egypt.
