River Soccer Club (RSC) was founded in the spring of 1996 in Southern Delaware, beginning with just 3 teams and 48 players and growing to approximately 600 players in recreational programs and 16 representative travel teams. Based in Frankford, DE, the club serves youth ages 5 to 18 and operates under the Delaware Youth Soccer Association (DYSA) and US Youth Soccer (USYSA). RSC offers a wide range of programs including recreational leagues (fall and spring), an indoor winter league, player development programs, futsal, goalkeeper academies, camps, and a college pathway program. The club is a proud Philadelphia Union Club Affiliate, benefiting from coaching education, exclusive summer camps, and a talent identification pipeline. RSC's philosophy centers on long-term community development, summarized by their motto 'Play. Grow. Empower,' emphasizing player-centered growth and critical life skills through soccer.
