Philadelphia Union

The Philadelphia Union is a professional MLS club founded in 2008 and playing since 2010, based in Chester, PA (serving the Philadelphia region) at Subaru Park on the banks of the Delaware River. The club operates a comprehensive youth development structure through the Philadelphia Union Academy, serving players from U9 through U18 via the Academy and Union Juniors programs. The Academy has produced 29 Homegrown players for the first team, including U.S. Olympians Nathan Harriel and Jack McGlynn, and USMNT players Brendan Aaronson and Mark McKenzie. The Union Academy competes in MLS NEXT and has won the GA Cup three times and MLS NEXT Cup at the U-15 and U-17 level. Starting in fall 2025, the Union Juniors (U9-U12) transitioned to a Club and Country model, training in a club-neutral environment while players continue to compete with their local club teams.
