About
NextPlay Soccer School is a female-focused soccer program based in Concord, MA, originally founded in 1998 as Slocum Soccer School by Nancy Slocum. The club exclusively serves female athletes through day camps and high school prep programs, emphasizing strong female role models and injury prevention, particularly ACL injuries. In 2025, after 26 years of leadership, Slocum passed the torch to Kate Grant and Caitlin Pickul while maintaining the same philosophy and commitment to player development. The program operates out of Concord-Carlisle High School and maintains a low player-to-coach ratio with specialized goalkeeper instruction.
