The New York Shockers are the Capital Region's soccer team based in Colonie/Albany, NY, returning for their fourth season. The club operates men's teams competing in the NPSL and UPSL leagues, and a women's team competing in the WPSL. Home matches are played at Afrim's Sports Park in Albany, a premier facility built in 2019 that has hosted NCAA regional finals and ACC soccer games. The club added another men's team competing in UPSL in 2024, expanding their competitive offerings.
