About
Michigan Bucks Academy is an elite youth soccer academy affiliated with Flint City Bucks, the most successful soccer franchise in Michigan history with four national championships. The academy is part of MLS NEXT's new competition tier launching in September 2025, providing a pathway to professional soccer while maintaining high school eligibility. Located in Michigan with tryouts held at Wisner Stadium in Pontiac, the club has produced 107 alumni who advanced to MLS, the most of any club in the state. The academy is led by accomplished and licensed coaches including former MLS draft pick Simon Omekanda.
