About
The Merrimack Youth Association is a comprehensive youth sports organization founded in 1968 and incorporated as a non-profit in 1971, serving the community of Merrimack, New Hampshire. The all-volunteer organization provides 8 different sporting activities including baseball, basketball, football/cheer, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, and wrestling for children from kindergarten through high school. With over 125,000 hours of annual volunteer service, the MYA has served more than 50,000 youths over the years and operates under a philosophy that all children can participate based on their desire rather than ability. The organization works in partnership with the Merrimack School District and Merrimack Police Department to provide recreational sports programming under contract with the Town of Merrimack.
