About
Hunter Soccer Club is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization based in Glenside, PA that has been serving families for over 60 years since 1962. Originally called St. Luke's Soccer Club, it was founded by Scottish immigrant John Hunter who started with a group of Cub Scouts and a volleyball at Abington High School's fields. The club offers both recreational (intramural) and travel soccer programs to 1400+ youth participants from 600+ local families. Known for their distinctive blue and white horizontal striped "Hoops" jerseys inspired by Queen's Park Rangers, Hunter Soccer Club maintains a strong community focus while providing opportunities from recreational play to competitive travel teams.
