Hempstead EOC Soccer Club (HEOCSC) was established in 1991 and operates under the Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County, serving low-income youth ages 6-19 in Hempstead, NY. The club focuses on 'Building Character through the sport of Soccer' and combines competitive soccer with after school programs, youth council, and employment opportunities. Known for exceptional academic achievement with 100% high school graduation rate since 2005, the club has won 33 Long Island Junior Soccer League Division Championships and produced numerous college graduates. Their mission emphasizes using soccer to instill confidence, motivation, and values that transcend the field to develop responsible, accomplished citizens.
