F.C. Portland Soccer Academy was founded in 1987 by Clive Charles with the philosophy that soccer prepares young people for life's challenges. Based in Hillsboro, Oregon, the club offers programs from U7 through U19 including ECNL Boys, ECNL RL Girls Far West, and academy programs at various levels. The club emphasizes long-term player development, professional coaching, and building foundations for both competitive soccer success and future life achievements. FC Portland is a founding member of the ECNL Regional League Girls Far West and operates comprehensive pathways from youth development through college preparation.
