FC Harlem

FC Harlem, founded in 1991 as Harlem Youth Soccer, is a nonprofit youth soccer club based in Upper Manhattan, New York City, serving players from Harlem, the Bronx, and Washington Heights. The club operates a 100% free-to-participant model for selected players across all programs, making elite development accessible to inner-city youth from various socioeconomic backgrounds. As a member of the MLS NEXT Academy Division, FC Harlem provides an invitation-only competitive pathway for players born 2012, 2013, and 2014, with selection through a scouting network and iD sessions. The club emphasizes holistic player development across four pillars: Wellness, Leadership Development, Academic Achievement, and Career Development. FC Harlem's 'Courageous Football' philosophy centers on character, creativity, and commitment, with a mission to develop untapped talent from inner cities toward collegiate and professional opportunities.
