Fairfield County Sports Commission

The Fairfield County Sports Commission is a youth foundation and sports hall of fame organization based in Norwalk, CT. The organization operates the Chelsea Cohen Fitness Academy & Scholarship, a countywide umbrella program focused on promoting healthy, active lifestyles among children. Over its 20-year history, the commission has provided over $625,000 in support and community donations to 90+ youth organizations throughout Fairfield County. The organization honors local sports achievements through its Hall of Fame with three wings: Jackie Robinson professional wing, James O'Rourke amateur wing, and J. Walter Kennedy community service wing.
