About

Exeter United FC (EUFC) is a youth soccer club based in Reading, PA (mailing address P.O. Box 3652, Reading, PA 19606), serving the Exeter Township community. Founded in 1986 as the Exeter Youth Soccer Association (EYSA), the club rebranded to Exeter United F.C. in 2019 and is governed by an elected Board of Directors. The club offers three main programs: an Intramural Program for U5-U8 players, a Travel Program for U9-U13 players competing in EDP Soccer, and a Suburban Counties Recreational Soccer League for U14-U15 players. EUFC emphasizes player development, sportsmanship, and community involvement, with a philosophy focused on building confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game at every level. Evaluations are required for travel team placement (U9-U12), and the club relies heavily on volunteer coaches supported by club-provided training and resources.

Tryout Schedule

Travel Program players (U9-U13) are required to attend evaluations for team placement. Evaluations are held at Farming Ridge Park. U9-U12 players registered for the Fall season must attend on their scheduled night (boys and girls evaluated separately). Players wishing to play up an age level must indicate so at registration and attend two weeks of evaluations for both age groups; they must score higher than 50% of players in the older age group to be eligible. The Travel Director has final say on player placement. Players who miss evaluations may not be eligible for top-tier team placement. Suburban Counties Recreational League requires no tryout.
