About
City SC Frederick is a youth soccer organization based in Frederick, Maryland, serving players of all ages and skill levels. They are the first affiliate club to join the City SC brand east of the Mississippi River. The club offers programming ranging from recreational development for toddlers (ages 3-6) through competitive travel teams up to U18, including a College Program. Their philosophy centers on igniting a lifelong passion for soccer and creating 'citizens for life through soccer,' with a structured pathway to unlock each player's individual potential on and off the field. They compete in EDP Soccer and have recently joined the Chesapeake Premier Soccer League.

Tryout Schedule
Registration is open for 2026-2027 season tryouts via PlayMetrics. Players must create a PlayMetrics account to register. Ages eligible: Rising 3rd Grade through Rising 10th Grade (born August 1, 2010 – July 31, 2018). Every player must register and attend at least one session for their rising age group to be eligible for team selection. Players should wear a black shirt, shorts, and socks with no club branding, shin guards, soccer cleats, and bring water and a properly inflated soccer ball. Separate development-level team opportunities exist outside of annual evaluations. For 2026-2027, rostering parameters will be based on school-year calendar (September 1 – August 31).
