Central Illinois United

Central Illinois United (CIU) is a premier soccer club based in Central Illinois that began offering full-time teams for select age groups in 2020. The club is a collaborative effort between three founding organizations: FC Central Illinois (FCCI), Peoria FC United (PFCU), and Springfield Area Soccer Association (SASA). CIU focuses on developing elite players through Girls Academy competition and high-level training, with teams achieving notable success including USYS National Finalists, Girls Academy playoff qualifications, and multiple IYSA State Cup Champions. The club emphasizes technical, tactical, physical, and psychological development within a competitive environment, aiming to prepare players for collegiate soccer opportunities.
