About
Cap City Athletic 1847 is a premier youth soccer organization based in Lansing, Michigan, founded in 2014 by Eric DeLonge, Stacy DeLonge, and Dan Jury. The club operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and offers programming from toddler-level Mini Kickers through elite competitive teams competing in ECNL and the National League. With 46 competitive-level teams and over 600 players at the U9-U19 level, Cap City emphasizes individual player development, character building, and life skills through 'The City Plan' philosophy. The club also fields an amateur women's team competing in the United Women's Soccer (UWS) league, providing a visible pathway for younger players. Cap City is a 2025 State Cup champion and has had teams reach National League Semi-Finals, demonstrating success at the highest levels of youth competition.

ECNL and DA tryouts are held the week of May 18th at Spartan Greens Turf Complex. MSDSL and MSPSP tryouts are held June 13th at East Lansing Soccer Complex. ID Sessions for ECNL RL, Pre ECNL, and DA HS Girls were held Sunday, May 17. Specific 2026-2027 tryout schedules are available on the website.
