Association FC

Association Football Club (AFC) is a competitive youth soccer club based in Oakland, CA, serving players in the East Bay Area of San Francisco. Founded in 2017 (or 2019 per the about page) through a merger of Castro Valley Soccer Club, Clippers FC, and Piedmont Soccer Club, AFC serves U13-U19 players across multiple competitive levels. The club competes in top leagues including ECNL, ECNL-RL, NPL, and NorCal Premier, with teams ranging from Academy-level to Bronze-level regional competition. AFC boasts one of the highest credentialed professional coaching staffs in California, with 5 UEFA/US Soccer 'A' licensed coaches and 16 'B' licensed coaches. The club's philosophy emphasizes whole-player development through a balanced tactical, technical, physical, and psychosocial approach, with a strong college advisory program to support player pathways.
