AC Connecticut

AC Connecticut, formerly CFC Azul, is based in Newtown, Connecticut and joined the USL Premier Development League in 2012, becoming the only soccer franchise based in Connecticut. The club operates Connecticut's most complete player pathway, offering opportunities from local youth programs to highly competitive leagues including USL Academy, USL Women's, and USL League Two. AC Connecticut has a partnership with Hartford Athletic and is distinguished as one of the only clubs in Connecticut with a semi-pro team integrated into its pathway. The club has achieved notable success including their U-13 team winning a National Cup title in 2019. They focus on technical, tactical, physical and psychosocial components of player development using top facilities and coaches.
